Earth cracked in MI, no one knows why

Earth crack a mystery
One day the land was flat and filled with trees shooting straight into the air. Twenty-four hours later there's a 600-foot-long crack, 4-feet deep twisting its way through the woods - and those vertical trees are now pointed 30 degrees left and right where the earth has mounded 15 feet high. No, it's not a disaster movie; it's what happened Monday at the home of Eileen Heider on Bay de Noc Road in Birch Creek. Heider was sitting in her recliner watching TV at about 8:30 that morning. "The chair shook for a few seconds and I thought the spring in the chair went," she said. ... The next day Heider's friend, Doug Salewski, found a hole in the ground and a 200-yard crevasse a short ways away which wasn't there before. Heider went to investigate and said the crack was three-feet wide and about five-feet deep in spots.
Doug Salewsky and Eileen Heider look at a 200-yard long crack in the earth Tuesday on Birch Creek Road in Menominee County. The crack is 2 to 3 feet wide in some places. The trees in back are tipping about 30 degrees and the earth around the crack has rose about 5 feet with other little fissures spreading out from center.

The article I posted above coincides with something I've been reporting for a while: the earth is cracking up. I reported on it here, and followed up here. During the Tribulation, many earth-changes happen through 'natural' disasters, so by the end the earth looks nothing like itself. And that is good, because at the end of the Tribulation, the LORD remakes (renews) the earth.

During the flood that is described in Genesis 6, mountains were raised up and valleys were made deeper to hold the enormous quantities of water generated in the Great Flood. Earth’s land masses have been pushed apart to make the current continents and islands. The earth as it looks now is not how it looked in the beginning, and it is not how it will look after it is returned to its original condition. In the latter part of the Tribulation God uses the massive natural disasters to not only judge the inhabitants of the earth, but to begin the transformation process in returning the earth to its pre-flood condition. In one example:
And there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. ... And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. (Rev 16:18b-19a, 20)
Rev 21:1 speaks of a new heavens and a new earth, as does 2 Peter 3:13. Prior to that moment, there is another promise, in Isaiah 24:

"See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth
and devastate it;
he will ruin its face
and scatter its inhabitants" (Is 24:1)

It has been my contention that the mysterious cracks appearing int he earth here and there (Mexico, Guatemala, China, and now Michigan) are part of this devastation promise.

"The earth is broken up,
the earth is split asunder,
the earth is thoroughly shaken.
The earth reels like a drunkard,
it sways like a hut in the wind;" (Is 24:19-20)
