Israel readies land for mass burials

This is a very interesting piece of information (thanks kind reader who sent it to me!). It has prophecy written all over it. Here is the news:

State earmarks mass grave sites in case of national disaster
"Israel's National Planning and Building Board ruled Tuesday to designate eight sites across Israel as mass burial sites in case of a nationwide disaster, such as a catastrophic earthquake. The Board's dire premise is that such a quake will result in thousands of fatalities, regardless of its geographic epicenter. Another work premise is that in case of a nationwide mass casualty event authorities would be unable to accommodate timely burial, due to foreseen problems with identifying remains and the need to clear bodies in order to thwart the speared of disease. The eight designated sites, which span from Rosh Pinna in Israel's north, to Beersheba in its south, can each entomb 3,000 individuals. The sites were chosen after being deemed topographically suitable."

In the soon-coming Ezekiel battle of Gog and Magog, "“It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.  For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified,” says the Lord GOD. “They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. The search party will pass through the land; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. The name of the city will also be Hamonah. Thus they shall cleanse the land.”’ (Ezekiel 39:11-16.)

Hamon means multitudes. So literally Hamon Gog means multitudes of Gog who will be buried.

The news article does not say if one of those designates sites is near the soon to be named place of Hamon-Gog, but we know from the bible that at the end, it WILL be where Gog and 5/6ths of his army is buried!

How sad that beleaguered Israel feels the need to devise places for mass burials. how wonderful His prophecy is so precise that the names of the places are included and the methods like laying the flags are described. How unwittingly do the Israelites do all this, not knowing the burials will be for OTHERS!

Don't get me wrong, many people of Israel will die in upcoming prophetic events. But the gateway event that brings them to the tribulation is the battle described in Ezekiel, when the Lord shows His fury at aggressors against His people, and shows His face to all nations. "Then they will know I am the LORD" He says, and that is a coming event though fraught with pain and death for many, ultimately it is the beginning of the end of bringing a rebellious humanity to justice and a repented humanity to His bosom. That is good.

  1. That headline struck me all on its own when I first read it. Then when I read the story, I seriously shouted (in a room all by myself), "WHOA!"

It just blew me away. God is moving SO mightily! Things are accelerating. All the actors are getting ready, the last few set pieces are being moved. It's almost showtime....

I find it so exciting to be living in these times. Prophecy opening up and being fulfilled before our eyes!

    Come Lord Jesus, come!

  3. "when the Lord shows His fury at aggressors against His people"

Is this Israel or are "His people" the Church? If the Church is not "His people" - then who is the Church? Bride of Christ, branches grafted onto the vine when the unfruitful ones (Israel) were pruned, the Body of Christ, etc. The Church is "His people". All of the people in Hebrews 11 are listed because of their faith, not because they were from Israel (Able, Enoch, Noah, Rahab, Ruth and many others in the OT were not Jews, yet are part of "His people", too).

  4. The context in the Ezekiel chapters 38-39 are His people ISRAEL. The actual land of Israel is attacked by Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others. Israel is completely surprised (Ez 38:11). They are almost losing this battle against a numerous army (Ez 38:6,9). The LORD is furious (Ez 38:18b). He stops the invasion of Israel and wipes out the multitudinous army.

This begins the Tribulation. The Tribulation is TOTALLY about Israel. The rest of the unbelieving world is part of it of course, but Daniel was told the reasons for the Tribulation and the focus is the Jews, those 7 years in verse 24-27. In verse 24 the angel tells Daniel:
    "Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
    To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
    To make reconciliation for iniquity,
    To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

Your people and your holy city. Your people are the Jews and The holy city is defined elsewhere in the bible numerous times as Jerusalem. You see that God is punishing for iniquity (sin) but the bible states several times the church believers have had their sins forgotten, wiped out, nailed to he cross.

The Lord has unfinished business with the Jews and stopped that business all those years ago to build up His church. The Tribulation is a return to that business, but His church will already be in heaven by then. The Church Age will have ended, the number for the bride having been completed(Romans 11:25; Acts 5:15-17).

Before the rapture any Jew who accepts the Messiahship of Jesus through His blood covenant will be part of the bride. Any person at all who does this will be part of the bride-church. Any person or Jew afterwards who accepts Jesus as Messiah thru His blood will be redeemed but will not be part of the church-bride. The Church age ends at the rapture.

  5. Hey Elizabeth,

Rather than repeating the same old: " 7 Year Tribulation, After I Get Raptured Story " - that you learned ' In Spiritual Babylon [Sunday Church] ', why not open The Book; and begin to honestly and earnestly Study It For Yourself?

When Isaiah said: "Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink. For The Mighty One has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers" - what was he talking about? And when Yahshua said: "Because it has been given to you to know The Mysteries Of The Kingdom Of Heaven, but to them [ who are outside ]it has not been given." - what was He then talking about?

Who are: "Those Ravenous Wolves In The Sheepfold"... "Those Blind Leaders Of The Blind"... and "Those False Shepherds Who Feed Themselves From The Flock"...or, "Who Make Themselves Out As To Be Angels Of Light"? They're all around you; and yet, you cannot see them!

  6. Anonymous, I am satisfied with how and when I learned the bible texts and doctrines, because they were from the Holy Spirit in all the ways it is deemed good for us to receive the understandings.

It would be good for you to engage in a discussion honestly and dispense with accusations and false stereotypes.

As a general comment not to Anonymous particularly, but including him or her also, I notice that though Paul said not to be ignorant of the second coming and the rapture (1 Thess 4:13) that is exactly what people are MOST ignorant about.

You notice when people declare the pre-trib rapture or the Tribulation doctrines false they accuse the *person* rather than share their own verses and offer their own understanding of them. It is a telling indicator that they are not sincere in their arguments are in fact, ignorant ("without knowledge").

A typical accusation is that "you were indoctrinated in church, learn it for yourself" which in itself is a false doctrine and an evil accusation, because it supposes that church preaching, teaching, and gathering together for fellowship is somehow suspect. It is not.
    (Jeremiah 3:15; Ephesians 4:11-12; Acts 20:28;1 Corinthians 14:4 & etc.)

2 Timothy 3:16 says "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" so if a reproof is to be given to me, then use scripture and do so in a spirit of gentleness (Gal 6:1)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, when you see someone like anonymous
-- accusing a person without basis and in an evil spirit
    --disparaging fellowship of the body
    --discounting church learning
-and failing to offer proof texts of their own in sweet spirit,

    you know they are false.

  7. Hi Elizabeth,

I believe you are a Spirit filled woman, a spokes woman for God explaining the scriptures in plain, easy understanding English. You, with the guidance of God, are knitting the scriptures, prophecies, and news headlines together and laying it all out like a map for all who are interested to see and put the pieces together.

I am a Berean, searching the scriptures and looking for the truth, weighing what I hear and read to see if it lines up with the Word of God. You, my dear sister, are dead on in your teaching. You remind me of one who stands on the wall giving a play by play of all you see and hear.

Good work, I believe God is very, very happy with you.

    Blessings,
    <><

  8. Thanks Child of God! The Holy Spirit is amazing...He teaches so much and in so many ways (thru the Word, prayer, conviction, circumstance, sermons, and other people!) He leads us all into understanding. I have mentioned this before, but at a ladies' retreat I once attended, the gals were talking about Beth Moore, and how she brings depth to understanding of the scriptures. She sure does, but then one lady said "I love her teaching. When I read the bible I don't get that much out of it." I was sad because Beth Moore and that lady have the SAME teacher: the Holy Spirit. Any person can learn that much if they allow Him to lead. I look at a Beth Moore or a John MacArthur or a Steve Hadley or an Art Azurdia and I know I can be doing better, studying more, submitting more deeply. What I love about the Spirit is that there is no end to His wisdom and therefore no end to the learning!

    OK, off to church :)

  9. PS: Good for you, Child of God, or testing these things to see if they are true! Nothing makes me happier.

  10. Elizabeth, I agree with Child of God!!!

Also, I want to make note of this: I was taught about the pre-Trib rapture at no church-- by the Spirit and the Word alone. I didn't know it was called "The Rapture" until I started exploring it more. I was not raised in church. I came from a background in witchcraft, so I had no preconcieved ideas. It is simply what the Word says is going to happen! :)
