Signs in the sun, moon, and stars

"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25)

Today: Sun uncorks aurora-burnishing blast at Earth- "The sun is still on the upswing of its 11-year cycle of solar activity, with more storms expected this year through 2014." NASA reports "A long duration M-class flare began erupting on the sun at 8:42 AM ET on Thursday, January 19. The flare is shown in the above movie from the Solar Dynamics Observatory in a combination of light wavelengths. An earth-directed coronal mass ejection was associated with the solar flare. NASA's Space Weather Services estimates that it is traveling at over 630 miles per second and will reach Earth some time on Saturday, January 21, when strong geomagnetic storms are possible and viewers can be on the look out for increased aurora."

"Last year saw two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses, meteor showers and a Sun spot cycle. One was the longest total Lunar Eclipse in 11 Years. Another was a "relatively rare lunar eclipse where the center point of Earth's shadow is on the disk." There was also a super moon where the moon appears to be bigger to the naked eye."

  1. Imagine what all these telescopes are going to record the half-moment the rapture occurs. That's going to be very interesting!

  2. LOL, great thought! Maybe something a little like THIS:

  3. I wonder if the disruption to the magnetic field will trigger an earthquake?

  4. It is an M-class eruption, not as big as an X-class.

Here is what USGS says about eq's and magnetism:
"no convincing evidence of electro-magnetic precursors to earthquakes has been found, despite decades of work. And it should be emphasized that isolated coincidences are not sufficient to demonstrate a relationship. What is needed to confirm an extraordinary claim is, of course, an extraordinary amount of evidence, which in this case would mean many repeated correlations of earthquakes with specific and identifiable precusory field variations. Such evidence simply doesn't exist."

So we can wait and see. The CME is due in on Jan 21

  5. I know, I know . . . : ) hehe

They say there is no correlation. But I remember watching the Induction Magnetometer go off the charts for four days before the Japan earthquake!!!

We don't NEED a disruption to the magnetic field to produce a monster quake, but between Japan and Haiti, I personally believe that there is a connection.

BUT again, I am totally not an expert.

Like you said, we can wait and see : )

  6. I agree Anonymous. They say the magnetosphere disruptions have no correlation to quakes and yet this site (and also USGS) say "One of the keys to plate tectonics was the discovery that the Earth's magnetic field has reversed its polarity 170 times in the last 80 million years." It would seem that magnetosphere shield around the earth would have *something* to do with quakes but I'm not a scientist, although I do know something the scientists do not: the earth isn't 80 million years old. Let me know what you observe in the next week or so as the CME hits on the 21ts and if there is any subsequent seismic activity if you want. I'm interested.

  8. Interesting to know the furnace was also heated seven times more- Read the Scripture Daniel 3:19, and Isaiah 30:26 shares the light of the sun shall be sevenfold.
